Smartlink
Multi-Journey (MJ) Smartlink fares offer considerable savings on these cash fares. The Smartlink MJ Card can be loaded with a number of journeys from a minimum of 5 to a maximum of 40, in multiples of 5 journeys (5, 10, 15, 20, etc.).

The card can hold a maximum of 50 journeys. Smartlink MJ Card journeys are valid for 3 months from when you first purchase the card. Then, each time you ‘top up’ your Smartlink MJ Card all valid unused journeys have their validity extended for a further 3 months.

Seniors - enjoy Belfast for free!

Any journeys not used within 3 months of a top-up are lost. The expiry date is shown on your ticket receipt each time you use your card on the bus.

When you buy your Smartlink MJ card, you will pay a one-off charge of £1.50 for the card.
