Metro Service 61 - Corporation Street Diversion 20-Aug-2008 16:39
Due to ongoing Sewage/Pipe laying. Metro service 61 will continue to operate on a diversionary route until 18th December 2009.
The diversion will be as follows:
Outward Journey via
York Street, Brougham Street omitting Dunbar Link and Corporation Street.
Inward Journey via
Nelson Street, Dunbar Link omitting Corporation Street and then as normal to City Centre.

Metro - Update Beersbridge Road Closure 28-Aug-2008 8:56
Translink wish to advise Metro passengers that from Monday 16 June to Friday 19 September 2008 the Beersbridge Road country bound lane will be closed for roadworks.
As a result Metro services 18 and 19 will be diverted via Castlereagh Street then back onto the Beersbridge Road where the normal route will continue.
City bound services will not be affected by this closure.

Metro - Royal Black Preceptory Parade 27-Aug-2008 10:57
Due to various feeder parades proceeding from East and South Belfast in to the City Centre on Saturday 30 August 2008.
Translink Metro services may be subject to minor disruption between 0800 and 1000.
During the parade Linenhall Street may be closed off for a short period between 0900 and 1000.
Metro - Relocation of Bus Stops City Centre 24-Jun-2008 12:03
Translink would like to inform passengers that from Monday 30th June 2008, the following Metro services will have their departure points relocated within the City Centre;
Metro 5A, 5B & 31, 18, 19, 20, 20A & 23, 64, 64A, 64B & 96, 12A, 12B & 12C, 61 and 600.

Metro - Bruce Street Exit Lane Closure 24-Jun-2008 12:00
Translink would like to advise passengers that due to a lane closure, the Bruce Street exit on to the Dublin Road will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday 1st July to Friday 19th September 2008.
As a result Metro services 7A, 7B, 7C, 29 and 29A will be diverted on their inward journey only.
Metro services 30 and 30A will be diverted outwards.

Ulsterbus - Rasharkin Road Closure 29-Aug-2008 16:49
Translink wish to advise passengers that from Wednesday 3 September 2008 for a period of eight weeks due to works by the Water Service.
The Moneyleck Road between Kilrea and Rasharkin will be closed to traffic from its junction with the Bann Road. As a result this will affect Ulsterbus service 115 and school services.
Buses will still serve the village along the main street and go behind Rogan's shop to the back of the Presbyterian Church to return to Main Street.
Diversions will be via Glebe Road (Bamfords) and
Church Road (the turnpike).

Ulsterbus - Portrush Mini Rally, Saturday 30 August 2008 28-Aug-2008 17:24
Translink wish to advise passengers that due to a Mini-Rally and Fireworks display along the Coast Road at Portrush on Saturday 30 August 2008 the 140 A/B Ulsterbus Services will not serve the Coast Road between Portrush and Portstewart from 1900 to approximately 2230.
The 140B service will arrive and depart at Dunluce Avenue. The stops at the Metropole and Dhu Varren will NOT be served.
140A Portstewart service will arrive and depart from Lever Road. The Promenade Atlantic Circle and the York Hotel stops will NOT be served.

Ulsterbus/Goldline - Dromore Service Information, Saturday 30th August 26-Aug-2008 14:05
On Saturday 30th August 2008, due to traffic disruptions in Dromore services 238/38 will operate as follows;
Belfast bound services will operate from a temporary stop at Hillsborough Road Underpass A1 Junction - Translink would like to advise all passengers to use the underpass to avail of this stop.
Banbridge & Newry bound services will use a temporary stop at junction of Maypole Hill A1 Dual Carriageway.

Ulsterbus - Mourne Rambler 405 Service Diversions 20-Aug-2008 17:03
Due to a landslide at Fofanny Dam, alterations have been made to the usual route of the Mourne Rambler service.
This diversion will operate from Thursday 21st August until Sunday 31st August 2008 inclusive.
1015 and 1515 departures from Newcastle have been withdrawn.
0930, 1200, 1400 and 1630 will operate a diversion which excludes the Meelmore, Fofanny Dam and Ott Mountain Stops.

Ulsterbus - Service 131 and 218 Ballycastle to Ballymena 13-Aug-2008 12:10
Due to road resurfacing the A44 Drones Road will be closed from the Killraughts Road to the Beragh Road between Monday 18 and Friday 22 August and from Wednesday 27 to Friday 29 August 2008.
This will affect both services 131 and 217.
Buses operating from Ballycastle to Ballymena will operate via Armoy, Glenshesk Road, Magheramoney, Ballyknock, Pharis Road and Tober Cross.
Buses operating from Ballymena to Ballycastle will operate the reverese route.

Due to road works the Brunswick Road in Bangor will be closed between Rugby Avenue and Bryansburn Road from Monday 28th July to Friday 29th August.

Ulsterbus - Roadworks Newry By Pass May 2008-2009 (updated 22nd May) 22-May-2008 13:19
On Monday 12 May Lagan Construction will begin rock blasting at Cloghogue Roundabout and on the bypass.
This will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 1100 and 1500. This work is scheduled to take place up until May 2009.
Each road closure is estimated to be 20 minutes and some delays may be experienced during this time.
This will affect Ulsterbus service 43 to Forkhill and Goldline Express service 200 travelling to Dublin Airport and Dublin City Centre.
Translink like would advise passengers to allow additional time for their journeys, especially if travelling to Dublin Airport.

Ulsterbus/Goldline - 38/45 & 238 Loughbrickland Service Information 8-Jul-2008 16:24
On Monday 24th July the underpass on the Newry side of Loughbrickland will be closed for road works for approximately 6 months.
Passengers wishing to travel from Loughbrickland in the Newry direction will board the services in Loughbrickland as usual however the bus will have to turn left at the A1 and travel back to the Outlet Roundabout before rejoining the A1 for Newry.
Please note this may add on approximately 10 minutes to your journey.

NI Railways - Station Enhancement Work 20-Aug-2008 16:41
To improve station facilities, including accessibility, signage, shelters, lighting and surfaces, in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act, NI Railways will close access to some platforms at certain stations over the coming months.

NI Railways - Lurgan Car Park 27-Aug-2008 12:24
Due to resurfacing work, Lurgan NI Railways front car park will be closed from Wednesday 27 August for approximately a week.
An alternative car park can be found at the Victoria Street side of Lurgan Rail Station.

Work on the extension of the Park & Ride carpark at Whitehead will begin on Monday 12 May and will last for approximately 20 weeks. To enable work to take place, up to 5 current spaces will be temporarily closed.

Please note due to construction work on the LUAS line in Dublin, the Luas stop outside of Connolly Station will be suspended from 16 June 2008 until early Autumn.
This will not affect rail services to and from Connolly Station.

Enterprise - Newry Platform Works 10-Jul-2008 15:32
Due to construction work at Newry Rail Station the Dublin bound platform will be closed from 21st July until further notice.
All Enterprise services will use the opposite Belfast bound platform.
Arrival times in Dublin may be subject to delays of up to 15 minutes.
Train services from Newry to Belfast will operate as normal.
