Get up and Goldline for £9

Calling all Ballymena to Belfast travellers! Tired of sitting in traffic on your way into Belfast? Want to get a head start at the office? Yes! Then its time for you to Get Up and Goldline for only £9.

From today (30th June 2008) passengers travelling on the 218/219 Goldline Express service from Ballymena to Belfast will benefit from this low day return fare of £9. These services operate hourly Monday to Friday with a regular service at the weekends.

Translink Brand Manger, Carol Marsden said, “We are delighted to offer this special discount to local Goldline passengers.  Providing access to cheaper travel, Goldline allows travellers to commute to Belfast stress-free, with no parking charges or congestion hassle.  We hope many local passengers will avail of this money saving opportunity and use the quality service supplied by Goldine to relax and enjoy their journey.”

This fare is available everyday until 31st October 2008.

Notes to Editor:

Full terms and conditions of the promotional fare are as follows:

• £9 Day Return (£4.50 child) between Ballymena and Belfast in either direction on Goldline Express Services 218 and 219. Not available on Ulsterbus Stage Carriage services. All other Goldline Express or Ulsterbus Express Services are excluded
  
• Available from 30th June to 31st October 2008.
  
• Promotional single fare not available.
  
• Available at intermediate points en route, where the fare is higher than £9 Day Return (Child £4.50 Day Return). Where the fare is lower than the promotional fare the ordinary fare will apply.
  
• Further concession does not apply for student tickets i.e. £9 flat Day Return fare. If the ordinary student fare is lower than the promotional fare the ordinary fare will be charged.
  
• Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
