The very best in global street theatre will be hitting Belfast this May as part of the famed Festival of Fools.

Taking place between May 3rd and 7th, the festival will see a number of street entertainers showing off their skills to admiring audiences.

Details of who will be performing at the festival will be revealed over the coming months, however, acts which have take to the streets in previous years include the Belfast Youth Circus, Afrikan Warrior, the Big Finish Cabaret and Jitterbug Jackson.

The variety of the performers is huge and whether you enjoy comedy, singing, dancing, acrobatics or drama there will surely be something to suit your tastes.

Over 200 performances will be taking place over the weekend
The Festival of Fools was recently nominated as the Best Family Event in the Ni4kids Family Awards. Awards will be presented to the winners at a ceremony on May 11th.
