If you have a Blackberry or a standard phone (i.e. not iPhone or Android), you can text the word mLink to 82500 or register online at www.translink.co.uk/mLink . A text message will be sent to your mobile containing a link to download the mLink application to your handset.
If you have an iPhone, you can download the ‘mLink’ app from the App Store. If you have an Android phone, you can search for ‘mLink or ‘Translink’ in the Market Place. Please note that iPhone or Android customers cannot register online.
Once you have downloaded the application a separate text message will be sent to your mobile containing your unique PIN number. Keep your PIN number safe (as you would with a bank or credit card) since it’s designed to stop unauthorised users from buying mLink tickets on your phone.
If you have registered using the ‘text mLink to 82500’ method on your Blackberry or standard phone, you will need to enter your personal and payment card details via the Registration option on the app’s main menu within the application before you can start using the mLink application. If you have registered online you do not need to re-enter your details within the app.
Provide us with your details including your Name, Postcode, Mobile Number (for iPhone and Android only), Email address and Date of Birth using your new mLink app.
If you live in the Republic of Ireland enter ROI as your Postcode.
You also need to enter your credit or debit card details which will then be held securely, ready for use when you decide to purchase your tickets. You only need to enter all of the above details once, before you start purchasing and using mLink tickets.
Please note that by downloading the application and registering your payment card details you have not bought a ticket and no money has been taken from your account. It is only when you actually purchase an mLink ticket that you will be charged.
